Selecting Currency Symbol for Rupee

India wants to have a symbol for its currency, the Rupee, which is universally recognizable like the Dollar sign or the Yen sign.

Until now it seems that the Government is looking at using the symbol involving the Hindi letter र (for R) with some modification, similar to Yen. What do you think of these symbols? Should it have any other type? Which of the following, if any, do you like and why?
