Choosing

Two days ago I chose cleaning over a walk outside in the one of the last somewhat warm & sunny days in my city. 🙁

Two nights ago I chose to have a friend over for dinner even though I was ashamed of our messy house & a very simple meal.  I’m so glad I chose it.

Three nights ago I chose to write this long blog blog post for 1.5 hrs. over getting some sleep myself during Rhys’ prime sleeping hours.

Last night I chose to do the same thing spending another hour writing, Part 2.

Tonight I chose to spend another 1.5 hrs. responding to the long & important comments on the blog post “Part 2,” in what is now my longest -and most drama filled- strand of blog comments. Ever.

And now, instead of choosing to come up with new content for this blog post…

I’m choosing to go to bed.

And tomorrow I’ll be glad I chose it.
