Friendship as a Form of Kinship

“Greater love has no man than this: that he lay down his life for his friends.” This workshop will explore friendship in Scripture and Christian history and consider ways in which the diminished role of friendship harms Christian communities. The workshop is directed first toward Side B gay Christians. It should also interest anyone seeking to strengthen friendship, especially those who want churches to welcome unmarried, lay Christians regardless of sexual orientation.
