 I would like to begin by thanking Suzy Choi for her post entitled Hope? It addresses a concern that is so often forgotten by our politicians. The silent cries of the children.

I don't think it is intentional that these cries go unheard. I think that it is an issue so complex that the tendency is for society to look the other way. There really is no answer for why these children have suffered the way that they have. To compound the problem, to even address the issue exposes one to danger. The very word triggers emotional trauma that terrifies even the strongest of us. 

It is time that some-one steps forward, and speaks out. The question I want to ask every government official is simply this.   What is your stance on Sexual Abuse?

  I could speak more on this topic, however, it is an issue on which I do not stand alone, so I will step back and let others speak for me.
