The sobering side of Salvation

    Friends and fellow belivers, its time we set aside the peace and Love of Christ. Something all to common in the Church today is the willingness not  to "offend" the potential believer with the truth. Did you get that? With the truth! 

The Gospel
truth wholly ordained of God is offensive to those who would not believe. Yet
it is a sweet nectar to those who will believe. It will separate families, pit
friends one against another, sons against fathers and mothers against daughters.
As much as we do not want to think anything contrary to the love and compassion
of Jesus Christ, there is a darker side to salvation. That darker side is
taught in Revelation.

Some of
you, maybe even most of you believe man to be basically good. While this might
make us feel good it cannot be true. Revelation 9:20-21 shows the true heart of
man. At this point in Revelation, literally millions of people have been killed
on Earth. Demons and judgment have been released against those poor retches
having to live through the "End times". Death and plague are the order of the
day and yet, here in the midst of the horrors that are Gods judgment, released
by Christ the ONLY one who is worthy, stands a rebellious mankind. Imagine this
time where for the past 4-5 years, there has been death, plagues, natural
disasters of unprecedented order, demons commanded to inflict pain yet not kill
followed by demons ranked in the millions (two hundred million to quote Rev 9:16)
commanded to kill with fire and smoke and poison gas? Our planet has been rearranged
because of massive earthquakes and floods. Oh the horrors released by the Lamb
of God. Does this sound like love and compassion to you? I didn't think so. The
God of the Israelites is a Holy God, His ways are not our ways and we cannot
even begin to understand His will for our lives.  We can however be sure of the eternity that
awaits us depending on which side we are on. Those who do not stand with God
stand against Him. Party affiliation does not matter; it is after all a thing
of man. Be you Democrat or Republican, Green or independent, we will all of us
stand before Jesus Christ a Loving and Holy God and be held accountable. Are
you reader, prepared for this day? Now is the time to get right with God. Now
is the time to repent of your sins. Turn, change, and remove yourself from that
which separates you from God.  Take some
time this October and search the scriptures and be sure your right with God.
What are the idols in your life that are keeping you from God? Is it your
politics? Is it your car or your job? Is it how big or little your paycheck is?
The scriptures alone will bring satisfaction to your life. To find it anywhere
else is a lie of Satan. Brothers and sisters, I write this to encourage you to
continue to share the Gospel with a passion for the lost. The picture of the
tribulation and the Great Tribulation is so horrifying and so tragic it hurts
my heart. Yet God has ordained this to happen as promised in the Scriptures. The
simple saving faith will spare us of this torment, pain and suffering. Are you
willing to endure some slight discomfort today as you share the gospel message
with those whom you cross paths with? My prayers are indeed with you.
