Obama Is Best

Obama is far better than Hillary Clinton and it's more than his judgment alone. Obama is more appealing to the entire country and has more integrity than Hillary.

It’s more than judgment with Obama, its skill and integrity too. Hillary has made a bad error in judgment with the war, but also with her recent remarks defending the need for lobbyists. John Edwards talks the talk with poverty, but his lifestyle contradicts his stance. Christ talked the talk and walked the walk. We’re called to do the same.  Dennis Kucinich takes opposing stances just to contrast himself with others.

 Take a look at competitive fields other than politics. In sports, skill trumps experience almost every time. Men with much more experience have been bested by Tiger Woods and Roger Federer due to their greater skill. This same concept works in the business world, although it rarely gets a chance to prove itself. If you are loyal to your boss and a good worker in other ways, but ineffective in your job duties, you will still get a good reference in many cases. You can then move on to another company and repeat your failures there. This is because we put too high a premium on experience and not enough on being effective.

Hillary may be able to get a few more things done in her first year because of her experience, but I’m confident Barack will get more done over four years. President Clinton had eight years to get things changed, but the system is still much the same as it has always been. That’s why George Bush has been able to do all the damage he has. Barack appeals to the strictest conservatives as evidenced in a Fox viewer poll that showed him favored two to one over Hillary and Edwards. Obama was also the only one of the top three candidates to come out ahead of the top Republicans in another poll. A person like this can change the political landscape for decades to come, because of his potential to unite people of opposing views. Hillary’s stance on the war has disturbed me. As has her favorable opinion of lobbyists.  If I have any blessing to give, it’s too Barack Obama.
