Logging in

This site uses cookies to identify that you have logged on to the site. If you have disabled cookies in your browser, you will be unable to login successfully, even if your registration was successful.

To change these settings in Internet Explorer, go to Tools, then Internet Options, then Privacy. Make sure your security level is set at Medium. Even better, you can include FaithfulDemocrats.com on your Trusted Sites list.

In Firefox, click on Firefox in the upper left, select Preferences, then the Cookies tab. Make sure you have the box checked that says allow cookies.

The other common cause of the problem can be the use of third party firewall, especially if they have cookie protection on. You should consult the firewall’s manual, help file or internet site to find out how to enable cookies for a given site.

The bottom line is, that you can use this site only if you trust us, and enable our cookies to be work properly. Othervise you can still view allmost all content of the site, but you will be somewhat locked out – can’t participate in this community!

If you are receiving a 403 error using Internet Explorer, our recommendation is that you update your browser to Firefox (http://www.mozilla.org/firefox) or the latest version of Internet Explorer, http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/default.mspx

General use

This site works best using a Firefox browser, free for download here:

You may also need to download and install a more current version of Java, free for download here: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

You will still be able to use the site with Internet Explorer, but you may not see the full functionality of the WYSIWYG text editor used to post blog entries.

Creating Blog Entries

To create a blog entry, you will first need to register and log in. You will see a new menu on the right once you have successfully logged in. One of the selections in My Blog.

Click on the My Blog link.

You will see a page listing your published entries and your unpublished entries. You may simply click on the title of the blog posting to edit it. To create a new blog, click on Create Blog. Enter a title for your article. The intro text is the text that will be the lead into your article. The more succinct and powerful you make this statement, the more interested people will be in reading the rest.

Please keep this section to under 50 words – keep the page free for other people to share their views as well.

You may also cut and paste from Word – please make sure to click on the clipboard icon with a W over it, if you are using a browser configuration that supports the text editor. If you do not see icons about the text entry area, the editor will automatically paste your Word document as text.

Updating your profile

You may edit your profile, even add a picture, by going to My Profile. As the site grows, we will be adding additional ways for you to connect with fellow Faithful Democrats.
