What if the “party” were to die?

What if the “party” were to die? 2013-05-09T06:23:05-06:00

I recently read a artical in a local news paper telling us to be informed

when we vote. The writer then went on to tell the readers to vote anything but Republican. The Republicans had to lean a lesson and this was the best way. Show them when we vote that we are tired of their party and their ideals. Please keep in mind that the writer wanted us to vote wisley.

I wonder what would happen if any party affiliation was removed form a ballot?  How would people know who to vote for or what measures to vote for? After all its pretty easy to check the "vote for this party" box. We dont have to take a test to vote, we dont even have to show an ID at the ballot box because we might become disenfranchised. Nevermind if you happen to look young you have to show ID to buy beer. Or how about writing a check or even using a credit card? And he asks us to vote responsibly. How do we do that if we negate a complete party as a voting option? After all not ALL Republicans are bad are they? Therefore being a consertave i must believe not all liberals are bad. Such is the nature of our country. So while you consider who to vote for this season, please get informed on the who's and what's your checking your ballot for. Dont just play the dummy and check your party box.
