Faithful Democrats
Today we have new fabrications from Bush and his administration. It's just more of the same old story of Peter and the Wolf.
Let this be made as crystal clear as I can put it. US Troops are not defeating Al Qaeda. They are not fighting Al Qaeda. For the most part, they are not fighting anyone. They are driving around being blown up without a shot ever being fired. That is the plain truth. Yes, occasionally there is a gun fight and some brave service member dies or gets injured. But that's not fighting Al Qaeda. Bush is telling another lie! And he's using a dead man to do it! If the defeat of Al Qaeda is so important to our security, how come it has been almost 6 years without any accountability for 9/11? Osama Bin Laden is still alive and well. His 2nd in command is still alive and well. We're not fighting Al Qaeda so we're certainly not defeating al Qaeda. And everyone, except perhaps this administration, but including Al Qaeda knows it. In fact, they know it so well, that they use it to manipulate us every opportunity they get. In fact, they taunt us with it. They want us to remain in Iraq as a) live bodies for targets and b) as recruitment for future attacks. Our presence in fact only helps their cause and increases their hatred for our country in the Middle East. This is the truth. And yet the Bushies cling to their sorry pathetic lies to perpetuate their own gluttonous villainy So let this be clear. Don't take my word for it. Go to this link and look for yourself. Our troops are not dying fighting anyone. They are dying driving around in poorly equipped vehicles being blown to smithereens without warning. If you are going to insist on putting more of their lives in jeopardy, then Please tell me how they are going to defend against that? What is the strategy? How is this helping to make Iraq indeed a better, safer place? Define what it is going to take specifically so we can all be on the same page together! Everything they have told us from day one about Iraq has not been the whole truth and they keep changing their story to suit their lame justifications for sending more American men and women to their death. This no longer can be tolerated. There clearly must be a change of course. If 2/3 rds of the Congress cannot come together as AMERICANS, not Democrats, not Republicans, not liberals, not conservatives, but again, I say as AMERICANS, then we, the people of the United States, need to clean house across the board in 2008. This great Republic of the United States of America would not have stood strong for over 200 years if men of different persuasions could not come together, put aside their parties political agenda and AGREE TO DISAGREE AGREEABLY for the sake of a greater cause and the good of this Nation! Let this message ring out loud and clear so that everyone and anyone running for office in 2008 clearly understands the show! Put aside your political agenda and come together to SAVE OUR TROOPS AND BRING THEM HOME! What Bush and his administration want are totally irrelevant if Congress will listen to the will of the people of this country and JUST SAY NO! to the failed policies of the past! It only takes 2/3rds to over ride this man's veto. It only takes 2/3rds to save lives, money and finally take on the real work of finding Osama Bin Laden and securing our country from real terrorism.
Candidates for 2008 better take heed. There will be accountability in 2008 for Democrats and Republicans! Politicians that will not listen to the will of the people can not and will not get our vote! Actions speak louder than lame political rhetoric. Please, I implore you to take a moment a let your voice ring out loud and true.
