Thanks to the chaos surrounding The Weinstein Company, it remains to be seen whether Mary Magdalene will get a North American release in time for Easter, as planned. But two other biblical dramas are set for release between now and then, and new featurettes for both of them went online this week. Check them out below the jump.
First, the makers of Samson (including producer Brittany Yost and co-stars Taylor James, Caitlin Leahy, Lindsay Wagner, Jackson Rathbone and Greg Kriek) talk about what the story means to them and how they hope to appeal to a broad audience:
And second, the makers of Paul, Apostle of Christ (including director Andrew Hyatt, Affirm Films executive VP Rich Peluso and co-stars James Faulkner and Jim Caviezel) talk about the film’s fidelity to scripture (with a particular nod to II Timothy 4:11):
Samson will come to theatres on February 16, and Paul, Apostle of Christ on March 28.
