The Social Media Gospel

Meredith Gould’s The Social Media Gospel is a primer for using contemporary social media services (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.) as a means for spreading and sharing the gospel.

The book will be especially beneficial to those who are new to social media, recognizing its value for the day in which we live.

For those who are initiated already and use social media, the reminder to use these new forums for the gospel is needed, especially since social media has been used to discredit Christians because many of them attack one another with misrepresentations and even defamation.

Unfortunately, there’s isn’t much in the book that deals with this subject. However, those new to the social media will find the book valuable.

How to use Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. are treated and there is an interesting chapter on social media burn-out.

The book is very short (less than 150 pages), and the chapters are easy to read.
