The worst one yet, by far. Here’s what we learn from this video: 1) Planned Parenthood absolutely considers its business in fetal parts more than “research.” It’s selling. In new vid, @ppact official specifically talks about how to claim harvesting for research, not a business venture. pic.twitter.com/xhjxaeVxpl — Mollie (@MZHemingway) July 30, 2015 .@ppact official praising atty for making sure if they’re shown to be participating in organ trade, will be protected pic.twitter.com/XkmuGRSPsi — Mollie (@MZHemingway) July 30, 2015 2) Planned... Read more

For myself and many of my fellow pro-lifers, the last few days have been a frustrating, difficult time in the news and media cycle. Four videos have been released by the Center for Medical Progress, videos that at the very minimum suggest that Planned Parenthood has been profiting off the sale of aborted fetal parts. Despite the urgency and stomach churning nature of this human interest story, few major media outlets seem willing to even acknowledge the story; or if... Read more

I remember my first day…I was with one of my trainers. I walk in and meet the staff, and I look over in the corner and there’s a little white tray with pie dishes on it. Then I see someone come in with a bottle and there’s blood in it. They went over to the sink and emptied it out in  a strainer and put it on  the pie dish…My trainer comes over and she takes tweezers and pulls the parts away... Read more

Charles Krauthammer explains why the Planned Parenthood expose videos will have effects on the public: Abortion critics have long warned that the problem is not only the obvious — what abortion does to the fetus — but also what it does to us. It’s the same kind of desensitization that has occurred in the Netherlands with another mass exercise in life termination: assisted suicide. It began as a way to prevent the suffering of the terminally ill. It has now... Read more

“The List Driven Threat to Christian Education,” John Michael Ritchey. If we applied the same moralistic standards that we often expect of our students to the stories that fill our curriculum, we would lose the opportunity to introduce our the young to the murderous Macbeth and his three bearded friends. They wouldn’t just be losing the enjoyment of a good story, but the chance to grapple with fate and free-will, to self-examine their own ambitious hearts, to have the eye-opening... Read more

“The debate over the fate of the flag, such as it is, pits people who know the truth against people who will not hear it. It has taken a horrifying act to shred the lies, to shame those who took pride in their unwillingness to be shamed, and — if the South Carolina House comes around — to turn the page.” So said the Editorial Board of The New York Times two days after Independence Day, in an unequivocal and... Read more

What does the organ harvesting ugliness of Planned Parenthood have to do with the spectacle of Bruce Caitlyn Jenner? Rod Dreher says, quite a lot: In both the Caitlyn and Planned Parenthood cases, the stand you take has everything to do with what you think it means to be human, and how you relate the human being to the natural order. Modernity generally sees the material world as meaningless matter that we can fashion however we like. The older world... Read more

“The End of Sexual Ethics: Love and the Limits of Reason,” Matthew Lee Anderson.  The “empathy” Dianna seeks is functionally approval: it is impossible on her view that a person might listen patiently, closely, and sympathetically to the stories and lives of those with same-sex sexual desires and still conclude that such desires are morally disordered. But by foreclosing the question of the permissibility of such desires, she treats her own moral outlook as immune from any “moral blind spots”: her... Read more

An undercover video has recorded Deborah Nucatola,  Planned Parenthood’s Senior Director for Medical Services,  revealing the organization’s interest in selling the body parts of aborted children. The video has been confirmed authentic through multiple sources and the  doctor featured in the video has reportedly deleted her Twitter account  this morning. From LifeSite News: While casually sipping wine and eating salad, Dr. Nucatola revealed that she charges $30 to $100 per specimen, and that fetal livers are especially in demand –... Read more

A  couple  weeks ago I was making the 3 hour drive from Columbus, Ohio to Louisville. Bored with my music collection, I decided to pass the time on AM radio. For about an hour I was able to listen to the local NPR affiliate. NPR, of course, is a decidedly liberal-leaning organization; its progressive worldview was obvious in its news coverage and its commentary. Yet for all its wayward politics, the voices on that station sounded smart, calm, and reasonable.... Read more
