“God knows I didn’t want to do what I did.”

If we allow it, evil can possess and overtake over our lives. Upon possession, we do not necessarily do the things that we want to do. In his final moments, Donnie Lee Roberts, Jr. wanted the world to know that he didn’t want to kill anyone. I believe him. There have been times in my life that I let evil in and didn’t necessarily do the things that I wanted to do. Can you think of moments in your life where you didn’t want to do the evil things that you did? God knows we wanted to do better and stands ready to forgive us.

I invite you to pray the last words of Donnie Lee Roberts, Jr. as a means of release of evil and a request for forgiveness,

“God knows I didn’t want to do what I did.”

Amen.
