then what good is such a god for those whose minds can’t stop creating sound

if god be in truth

then what good is such a god for those whose lives are lived in spaces of grey

if god be in music

then what good is such a god for those who can’t hear

if god be in a book

then what good is such a god for those who can’t read

if god be in heaven

then what good is such a god for those who are presently living in hell

if god be in the united states

then what good is such a god for those who live in india

if god be in identity

then what good is such a god for those who have no identity

if god be in the sky then the sky is god

if god be in the ocean then the ocean is god

if god be in silence then silence is god

if god be in truth then truth is god

if god be in music then music is god

if god be in a book then the book is god

if god be in heaven then heaven is god

if god be in the united states then the united states is god

if god be in identity then identity is god

all of these musings are rather silly you see

because the truth of the rhyme is that god is with me

not just me of course

but where i and you are

not in some distant faraway other land

if you want your constructed god to be there then let god be there
