ESV and “Dynamic Equivalence”?

If you watch this video you will see the ESV translation committee debating how to translate the original languages for words like ebed and doulos, often translated as “slave.” What is notable is the attempt here to find a suitable dynamic equivalent in modern English because the word “slave” has become impossible to use. Is this an example of ESV “dynamic equivalence”?
