A Poll

I polled my friends for ideas, and they came through.

Nature

After the storm, right before the melt, every tree limb outlined in white. Rainbows. Sunrises and sunsets.

Leaves in the Fall. Snowflakes. Waves on the beach. Lightning. Cloud formations. Gardenias. Bluebonnets. Daylilies and fireflies. Peonies.

The Blue Morpho butterfly (it’s amazing but its lifespan is only a couple of months). A pergola in bloom.

Food and Fun

A fantastic meal. Chocolate. Wine. Those desserts that are pieces of artwork—and then devoured.

Fireworks. A pedicure.

A clean bathroom. An empty laundry bin. A clean house (You can see I have a lot of mom friends). The quiet in the morning before everyone wakes up.
