Trump Is Proving the Bible Is Right, that He is in Free Fall

I wrote a book entitled Bible Predicts Trump Fall. It is happening. In a week from now, Donald Trump will have completed the first year of his second term as U.S. president. The following are some things that have been happening, showing that Donald Trump is in free fall.

Two Federal Investigations Deemed Trump Guilty

When President Donald Trump lost the 2020 election to Joe Biden, Trump then engaged in behavior to overturn the results of the election to remain president. He did so especially on January 6, 2021, two months after the election, by giving an outdoor speech at the Ellipse, locating near The Capitol where members of Congress were assembled in a formal meeting to recognize the results of the election and thus install Biden as president. But Trump also committed possible crimes when he took classified documents upon his exit from the White House and stored them at his home in Mar Lago, Florida.

Jack Smith—the Justice Department’s Special Counsel who conducted investigations of these Donald Trump activities—spoke publicly yesterday for the first time about his two investigations of Donald Trump about the above matters. He said that on January 6, 2021, when President Trump tried to get Vice President Mike Pence to not certify the election results before Congress that day, Trump’s speech fueled the mob attack on the Capitol and that it would not have happened without Trump’s speech. Trump had told his listeners to march on The Capitol and that he would go with them, which he didn’t. He said they needed to “fight” or they would not have a country. The mob scene resulted in over a hundred police officers being injured and five of them dying, four by later suicide.

Smith also said yesterday before the House Judicial Committee, which was televised nationally, that the evidence shows Trump knew he had lost the election. Yet Trump ever since has claimed that the election was fraudulently stolen from him.

Smith also said that after the 2020 election, Donald Trump “was looking for ways to stay in power.” Smith added, “Our investigation developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election and to prevent the lawful transfer of power.”

Smith’s investigations resulted in his decision to bring criminal charges against Donald Trump in a U.S. court of law. Smith said that he and his team believed that if that had happened, Trump would been convicted of crimes “beyond a reasonable doubt,” which is the high measure necessary to be achieved to bring a criminal conviction.

But when Donald Trump then won the next presidential election, in 2024, Smith was forced to withdraw charges due to the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel ruling, which had never been challenged before the Supreme Court, that a sitting U.S. president cannot be charged with a crime. I object to this OLC decision that was made in 1974 in the wake of Watergate. It seems to me that it is unconstitutional because it goes against the main reason the United States of America became a nation.

U.S. Foundation Is “No One Is Above the Law”

The Boston Tea Party started the American Revolution that led to the founding of the USA. It is in our Declaration of Independence. The main statement was, “no taxation without representation.” Bostonians revolted against the King of England, thus the British Empire, by overthrowing overtaxed tea from a British ship in the harbor. The American cry was that no one was above the law, even the king.

But in Trump’s case, our Supreme Court further ruled in support of this OLC rule by saying the president was “immune” from criminal charges. Yet thousands of Americans were marching last summer in many large cities against these rulings, crying out in reference to Donald Trump’s presidency, “No King.” One such day was called “No Kings Day.”

Immigration Crackdown, Drugboats & Greenland

But it seems that every week President Trump is doing something that raises questions about its legality or morality or both. One of the main reasons he got elected to the presidency this second time was to crackdown on illegal immigrations. But polls show that 75% of Americans are against ICE’s crackdown on immigrants in cities.

Another issue is President Trump’s orders to have our U.S. military kill over a hundred people in boats on the open seas supposedly transporting illegal drugs. Before, our U.S. Coast Guard would stop such drug trafficking boats, interrogate those people, and possibly bring charges in U.S. courts. For, it would have been against U.S. law for the president to order killing drug traffickers on U.S. soil. Trump’s policy is so inhumane. While U.S. citizens are divided about the legality of this high seas interdiction resulting in all of these killings, it seems the majority are against it.

Another issue is Greenland, which reflects Trump’s “America First” program. Weeks ago, President Trump had the U.S. military capture President Maduro of Venezuela for illegal drug trafficking and taken to the U.S. for court charges. Trump then admitted that this successful operation had emboldened him to have the U.S. take Greenland for national security purposes, although it probably also involves rich minerals there.

Greenland is a sovereign territory willingly under the control of Denmark. Trump said the U.S. must purchase Greenland or take it by military force. Denmark and the U.S. were founding members of NATO. If the U.S. attacked Greenland, its 5th Article would require Europe and Canada to go to war against the U.S. on behalf of Denmark and Greenland. Polls show that U.S. citizens do not support Trump in doing this.

Trump then wrote a letter to Norway’s Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere, given to him last Sunday. It read in reference to Trump’s desire to take Greenland, “Considering your Country decided not to give me the Nobel Peace Prize for having stopped 8 Wars PLUS, I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of Peace, although it will always be predominant, but can now think about what is good and proper for the United States of America.”

Trump then spoke for an hour at a gathering of nation and corporate heads the next day at Davos, Switzerland, chastising NATO in his rambling, disconnected speech. He again threatened to take Greenland, if necessary by force. Yet hours later Trump announced a possible deal was being worked out about Greenland.

Trump activities like the Norway letter are causing people to question his mental health. His father did suffer from dementia in his old age. Some politicians and political analysts are claiming Trump is going “insane.” They are calling for him to be removed from office by invoking the Constitution’s 25th Amendment. He certainly is a narcissist, constantly drawing attention to himself, and probably psychotic.

What the Bible Says about Donald Trump

I think all of these things Donald Trump has been doing reflect the thesis of my book, which is in its title—Bible Predicts Trump Fall. What does the book say? It quotes various Bible texts predicting what will happen to people like Donald Trump as follows:

“When pride comes, then comes disgrace” (Proverbs 11.2 NRSV).

“Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall” (Proverbs 16.18).

“A false witness will not go unpunished, and a liar will not escape” (Proverbs 19.5).

“Let another praise you, and not your own mouth” (Proverbs 27.2).

Jesus—”Many who are first will be last, and the last will be first” (Matthew 19.30).

What do you think? I think Donald Trump is the most egotistical man and the biggest liar I’ve seen in my lifetime.
