Merry Christmas Eve from Kimberly’s homosexual lifestyle!
I’ve awoken unduly excited that it’s Christmas Eve considering:
Thing 1 is out of town (having an AMAZING trip – thank you Kari)
I will get to see Thing 2 for only a couple of hours (every moment is awesome)
My home is quiet (but all spiffed up for Christmas)
I have a boring old cold (I’m not dead yet!)
It is gray and rainy (but toasty warm inside)
I miss my mamma, daddy (and a host of people no longer in my life).
And yet happiness has me by the scruff of the neck just the same!
So, I am up early
Gleefully baking cookies to take to the church (who is delivering goodies to our local police precinct and fire station this morning before sharing food and coats with some of our friends who sleep outside)
Doing early prep on tomorrow morning’s French toast casserole (to share with friends)
Off to find the last little gifts for a few folks including my aunt Nancy AND my paw-paw (who is a spunky-as-hell 91)
After which I will come home and watch a sappy Christmas movie
Attend the early Christmas Eve service at Kirkwood UCC
Come home to host a little online fellowship time with my friends at Extravagance UCC (9 pm EST).
Merry Christmas Eve y’all!
