Ferns, Flowers, & St. Mother Marianne

I’ll admit to having a “thing” for one of our newly minted Saints, St. “Mother” Marianne Cope. Among the newly canonized, she is likely my “favorite” saint (or at least in a two-way tie with St. Kateri).

So I was excited to run across this gift shop offering a few special devotional items being offered by St. Marianne’s religious community, who shares:

I clicked through and purchased the official “Ferns and Flowers” 2013 Calendar being offered by St. Marianne’s congregation. Here’s some basic information:

• Official calendar offered by Saint Marianne’s congregation, the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities.
• The monthly prayer poems celebrate Mother Marianne’s ministry as well as her love of nature, which brought her great joy during her years at Kalaupapa, Molokai, Hawaii.
• Calendar features major Feasts and Saints and Blesseds in the Franciscan First, Second and Third Orders.
