Without me even having time to tell you about all of the amazing happenings yesterday at EWTN, my whirlwind book tour has me in New York City. Tonight at 8 pm Eastern, I will be live in studio with Father Dave Dwyer and the crew of the Busted Halo Show for a conversation about The Grace of Yes. Having interviewed with Father Dave in the past and knowing his awesome personality, I can’t wait!
To prepare for this special opportunity, I decided to spend some prayer time this afternoon in St. Patrick’s Cathedral. If I only have a few hours here outside of the interview, my priorities are clear — visit with Jesus in Adoration, pray in the crypt before the tombs of Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen and Venerable Pierre Toussaint (two of my personal patrons) and see my son Eric. If I play my cards right and Eric can fit me in, I will have accomplished all of these–plus the interview–before my head hits the pillow tonight.
As an extra added bonus, when I was in St. Patrick’s Cathedral I spotted a very precious friend and was able to spend a few moments catching up with her and praying together. While younger than me by many years, Alexis is not only a dear friend but also a spiritual mentor. I firmly believe that our meetup today was ordained by the Master of my “yes”.
