Reader Paul Nowack writes:
Just thought I’d give you a heads up on some stuff I’ve done since the Manalive Pistol shirt you liked.
– Just started giving away my latest book on “Microcapitalism” (psst: It’s Distributism 2.0);
-Created my own interpretation of G.K. Chesterton’s Gype and published it as a board game;
– Wrote up a post about having a gun to your head that points out the similarity between you and Brad Pitt… in movie roles.
(Still waiting and hoping to see Manalive soon!)
God Bless and Happy Easter!
Happy Easter to you too! I’m also looking forward to the release of Manalive, in whatever year, decade or century that occurs. I’m hearing positive things from Dale Ahlquist, who has seen the close-to-finished edit (sans score and with some final tweaks that need to happen here and there). He reports that it does the first job any good comedy should do: it makes you laugh. Since he is one of the funniest guys on planet earth, I will trust his judgement.
Meanwhile, as our fearless director, Joey Odendahl, waits for the score, he writes me with this vital recommendation:
Rent “The Sasquatch Gang” if you haven’t already. It’s sort of in the “Napoleon Dynamite” genre… You’ll enjoy it.
I think he means “Queen of Outer Space” enjoy rather than “Citizen Kane” enjoy.
Anyway, check out Paul Nowack’s fun site!
