Prayer Requests

A reader writes:

My niece gave birth to a daughter this week.  She is 5 weeks premature and weighs just over four pounds.  Her name is Maddison.  She is in critical condition in NICU and stopped breathing twice yesterday.  Maddison is currently on a respirator.

Father, hear our prayer for the complete health–body, soul, and spirit–of Mom and baby through Christ our Lord.  Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for them, their caregivers, and all who love them.  Amen.

Also, a reader asks for prayer for guidance as he has a friend who is pregnant with a Down’s Syndrome baby who appears set on abortion.

Father, give him your words and send your spirit into the hearts of the parents to reconsider and love this baby through Christ our Lord.  Mother Mary, pray for all concerned.  Amen.
