Lizzie Scalia comments on an abortion death cultist who chooses to finish the job of searing her conscience by no longer using euphemism, sophistry and BS to try to hide the fact that she is advocating murder but comes out and says, “Abortion Ends Life? So What?” and follows it up with an announcement of frank contempt for one of the former pillars of liberalism: the notion of human equality.
Here’s the complicated reality in which we live: All life is not equal.
I hate being right all the time, but I’ve been saying for years that pagan post-Christian culture has been coasting on the fumes of the Christian tradition for decades now, imagining that equality is “self-evident” when, in fact, human equality is a mystical truth revealed by God through Christ. Get rid of Christ and you very quickly arrive at the brutality of people like this pagan Salon writer, who today is saying of the baby that the strong should do as they please and the weak suffer what they must–but tomorrow will be saying it about all the weak everywhere, born and unborn.
Our punishment for returning to paganism will be the universal condition of paganism: slavery as the norm. Sin always is its own punishment. We will be sold the lie of freedom but will get a rich and powerful overclass that reduces the rest of us to slavery and cheap death just as we have opted to reduce the weakest in our culture to it. God is not mocked and as we sow, so shall we reap–unless we repent.
