A reader writes:
I’m asking for prayers for my husband of 22 years (and father of our 8 children, ages 4 to 22). He’s going into the hospital for a few days for treatment for congestive heart failure related to a rare autoimmune disease he’s been fighting for a few years.
Father, hear our prayer for this man’s complete healing in body, soul, and spirit. Grant grace, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, skill, and compassion to his caregivers and grace, faith, hope, love, peace, and strength to him and all who love him. Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for him. We all this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
