by Larry Solomon of Biblical Gender Roles β Should Christian Women Wear Leggings as Pants?
Editorβs note: Monday morning nausea, Larry sounds off in the most cringe-worthy way possible to Lori Alexanderβs pet peeve of yoga pants. Just the thought that Larry is out there getting turned on by spandex might be the most compelling reason ever to not wear them out in public. Donβt make Larry more horny please for the love of God!
God made men with a much higher testosterone level than women. Most men have 10 times the level of testosterone in their system and probably 10 times the sex drive to go along with it.Β A manβs sex drive is not only significantly stronger than a womanβs but the entire driving force of it is different.Β While normal and healthy women desire sex too β their sex drive is emotionally and relationally driven.Β A manβs sex drive is physically and visually driven.
So yes, for us as men when we see a woman in legging pants or yoga pants it is far more sexually arousing to us then if a woman had on baggy pants or a loose-fitting dress that hid the shape of her rear end, pelvic area and legs.
As man we cannot control the fact that the sight of a womanβs figure displayed in this manner brings us pleasure β our brains are wired by the design of God to receive pleasure from the female form. Β Let put it this way to you ladies reading this article.
If you were to walk by your coworkerβs desk and they had just sat down with hot cheeseburger from your favorite cheeseburger place β would the sight and smell of that cheeseburger not send you pleasure signals through you brain? Would you not be made hungry as a result? Of course you would.Β The male physical and visual sex drive works exactly the same way when it comes to seeing women we find attractive.
QUOTING QUIVERFULL is a regular feature of NLQ β we present the actual words of noted Quiverfull leaders, cultural enforcers and those that seek to keep women submitted to men and ask our readers: What do you think? Agree? Disagree? This is the place to state your opinion. Please, letβs keep it respectful β but at the same time, we encourage readers to examine the ideas of Quiverfull and Spiritual Abuse honestly and thoughtfully.
