Quoting Quiverfull: Lori Alexander Thinks Education Makes For Bad Mothers?

Lori Alexanders Brainby Lori Alexander from The Transformed Wife – Lack of Education Makes Bad Mothers?

Editor’s note: More evidence that Lori is out of original ideas or material – citing Duggar news and going off on those that comment upon it. I guess since she deletes much of the commentary on her blog she’s reduced to riffing off ideas she does not agree with on other sites along with quoting Nancy Campbell, Debi Pearl and a zillion out of date Biblical commentaries.

Interesting that in her annoyance over people not rejoicing that a teenage Duggar daughter is pregnant she never mentions the birth this week of Mason Duggar, son of poor Anna Duggar and her husband Josh Duggar. Lori also fails to mention that Jill, Jessa, Jinger and Joy Duggar have petitioned the courts to disallow brother Josh from joining their lawsuit against In Touch Weekly and law enforcement in Springdale for the release of their names as victims of Josh’s sexual molestation. She does not mention that Josh is in court this week for using DJ Matthew McCarthy’s photos on his Ashley Madison profile, or that it looks like TLC is planning on returning Josh and Anna to the show soon.Β  Lori neglects to talk about the recent scandals involving Jill’s husband trying to raise money for his mission training and being rejected by fundraising sites, or the fact that it looks like Jill and Derick Dillard will be mostly absent from this season of β€˜Counting On’ – THOSE things are all symptoms of marrying too young with no experience of the world or education, being taught your only value lies in your womb, not in your brain or soul. Keep claiming this, Lori, but the evidence has long been overwhelming that the more educated a person is, the more they are likely to succeed at the accomplishments they work towards, be it as a wife and mother, or an educator, or in business. Hard evidence puts all this in perspective. Keep lying for Jesus, Lori.

Joy Anna Duggar, who is nineteen years old is pregnant and is causing quite a stir among the feminists of today. β€œWhat? She doesn’t have a college education?” β€œWhat will she have to offer her baby?” As one woman responded on an article about Joy Anna:

β€œWhat about an education? The ability to pay for a child’s needs? Babies are a blessing but they deserve to be raised in a loving and accepting home. An uneducated teenager without a job other than TLC is not a role model for young girls . Originally my daughters were allowed to watch the show but as the young ladies grew and were denied an education and basic civil rights β€” the show was banned. I have 7 children. 4 college graduates , 2 daughters in college who also work to pay for their education . The Duggar ladies are an example of what not to do.”

From what I have seen, higher education makes uninvolved mothers since mothers aren’t home full time with their children. They value their careers over their children. They find being home full time mundane and not for them, especially since it’s so easy to find care for their children with the many daycare centers available today. Higher education does nothing to help women become more submissive wives, better mothers, or homemakers who keep clean and tidy homes. They teach nothing that the Lord cares about concerning godly womanhood.

Why would Joy Anna have to be the one to β€œpay for a child’s needs” as this woman states? Joy Anna did it right. She married a godly, hard-working man to provide and protect her. If something happens to her, I am sure her family would support her as they are called to do biblically (1 Timothy 5:4).
