It’s beginning to taste alot like Christmas

So, my husband has been working extra hours trying to keep up with all the extra sermons and services that come around this time of year, plus all the usual church issues that get amplified by the holiday season. Meaning he is pretty busy and a bit more stressed than usual.

I’ve had a couple down days this last week, just feeling frustrated, trapped in the house, missing the sun, behind in everything, and a bit lonely. And if you know me at all, you know that when I am down, I either shut down completely, or I bake.

So even though my house is a disaster mess, and I’m buried behind in laundry, and I haven’t mailed a single card for all the reletives that have birthdays in this month…

They all taste amazing, and I’m hoping they will be the secret fuel I need to get the house in order this next week. I’m counting on internal peace arriving from a different source.
