History of the Crusades: Muhommad and the Origins of Islam

This particular video seems to have attracted a few angry comments on You Tube. I am not posting it here to discuss Islamic theology. I don’t know anything about Islamic theology and Islam is not the topic or purpose of this blog.

The reason I am posting these videos is that an inaccurate history of the Crusades is being used degrade and bash Christians and Christianity. This has happened as recently as last week and by no less a personage than the president of the United States.

I am aware that there is a strong peaceful movement within Islam. I think we should all remember that this video and the others I will post discuss events that happened almost 1500 years ago.

If readers want to discuss Islamic theology in an intelligent and courteous manner, including by bringing that peaceful interpretation of Islamic teachings forward, they are welcome to do that here. However, I will delete any and all comments that attack are uncivil.
