I don’t have any spiritual insights to share with you about Palm Sunday and Holy Week, except to say that whether or not it is a holy Holy Week for you is entirely up to you and your personal willingness to trust God.
The mass is freely available from every parish on the internet. The Holy Spirit is everywhere. God will bless you this week if you are open to being blessed.
My pastor and the other priests and deacons at my parish brought us a beautiful mass yesterday. I watched it on Facebook alongside many of my brothers and sisters in the faith. I love these people so much. I am in awe of them and their goodness and kindness.
They took me in when I was lost and they have loved me and supported me through all my contrariness, sickness, successes and failures since. It was a blessing in itself to be there with them on the internet, watching mass with my own dear pastor in my own parish.
This week is Holy Week and I am totally out of spit when it comes to saying something profound to help you walk through it in love and light. All I can tell you is that it is your choice whether or not you accept the blessings of grace and faith that God lavishes on us.
Those things are there for you if you want them.
All you have to do is say yes.
