The National Institutes of Health is funding the first trials on a Coronavirus vaccine. The trial will take place at Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute in Seattle.

While this is a hopeful development, it does not mean that a vaccine will be available in the immediate future. According to news sources, “it will take from a year to 18 months to fully validate any potential vaccine.”

This particular vaccine is just one of many that are being developed all around the world.
