If God is for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:31
Trump just showed all of us two black swans.
In a speech to America’s generals, he told them that he wanted the military to use America’s cities as “training grounds.” He wants to use our own military that we paid for with our own money, against you and me, and he’s not hiding it.
Trump told our generals that he wanted them to consider America’s cities as training grounds for their troops. In other words, he wants them to command the military to attack you and me.
That was the first black swan.
The second black swan was how he chose to “enforce” this statement. He told them that if they didn’t agree with what he said, no problem. They could leave. He added that that would be the end of their military careers.

First black swan: You will use the military to attack American citizens.
Second black swan: If you don’t use the military to attack American citizens, your military career will be over.
The three apples lie that Three Apple MAGA are being told is that –even as Trump plans to send troops to Memphis, Chicago, Portland, Los Angeles and New Orleans and America teeters on the brink of military dictatorship — there is something called “Antifa” that is a supposedly terrorist organization. Trump says this and Three Apple MAGA believe it even though there is no such organization as “Antifa.”
I’ve looked, and I cannot find an “Antifa” headquarters. There’s no sign of “Antifa” fundraising. There is no listing or sign of existence of “Antifa” officers, or an “Antifa” board of directors.
Why? Well, it certainly appears that the reason why is that there’s no organization called “Antifa.” ‘Antifa” does not exist.
“Antifa” is evidently kind of like “They’re eating the dogs, they’re eating the cats.” Trump made it up. Then his propaganda machine repeated the lie over and over. And, of course, Three Apple Maga believe it.
Three Apple MAGA also believe Trump’s lie that our cities are burning down (even when they obviously are not) and they back him sending troops into our cities. They support armed troops patrolling America’s cities, harassing and terrorizing American citizens, demanding that Americans show them their “papers” and arresting people, attacking them, and even killing American citizens.

The question here is what are those of us who know two black swans when we see them going to do?
There are a lot of reactions an intelligent person who sees reality can have to a threat to our liberty such as this one.
Depression, fear, anxiety, anger, disgust, outrage, horror … it runs the gamut. Americans who have never had to be afraid of their government for one moment in their lives will have huge emotional reactions when they are confronted with the reality that a President of the United States — a President of the United States !! — wants to use our own troops against us.
But I would suggest that instead of giving way to terror, the first thing we should do is pray. Pray for America. Pray for these generals. Pray for our troops. And pray that God will show you what you should do in this time.
I pray every day. In fact, I pray many times a day. Every night before bed, I pray the Rosary, or the Seven Sorrows of Mary, or, once or twice a week, I pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet. I also go to a web site, The Divine Office, to pray the Liturgy of the Hours. I don’t pray the entire Divine Office. I usually just pray the Evening Prayer and sometimes the morning prayer.
This helps enormously.
I read through the Bible every year. I’m planning to start a year-long, in-depth study of the Prophets and Revelation, as well as the New Testament beginning in January.
The message in all of this is simple: Don’t be afraid.
Evil is in control of our government, but there is a vocal minority in Congress who are fighting for our democracy. We still have the hope of elections, when We the People can turn this around.
Evil is always built on a foundation of lies, greed and hate, and the evil we are facing is no exception. MAGA’s whore clergy are lying about God in order to support Trump. When they do this, I believe that they are mocking God.
But a lie cannot live. It seems like they’re getting away with it. But don’t be fooled. God is not mocked. We the People can turn this around. We have the power.
We are eternal beings who are living this life in this time because we have been given the opportunity to stand for Christ in the face of evil. This is not a curse. It is an opportunity to stand for Him in the face of evil. Every step we take, He will walk with us. Our angels are beside us. Our Blessed Mother is praying for us.
All any of us needs to do is our part.
We have nothing to fear.
From The Hill:
President Trump on Tuesday told a gathering of military leaders they should use American cities as “training grounds” and described a federal crackdown on crime in major cities as “a war from within.”
Trump addressed dozens of top generals and admirals in Quantico, Va., where he said defending the homeland was the military’s “most important priority.” He signaled that the leaders in the room could be tasked with aiding in federal interventions in Democratic-led cities like Chicago and New York City.
“They’re very unsafe places, and we’re going to straighten them out one by one,” Trump said. “And this is going to be a major part for some of the people in this room. That’s a war too. It’s a war from within.”
“I told [Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth], we should use some of these dangerous cities as training grounds for our military — National Guard, but our military, because we’re going into Chicago very soon,” Trump added. “That’s a big city with an incompetent governor.”
“America is under invasion from within. We’re under invasion from within,” Trump said Tuesday. “No different than a foreign enemy, but more difficult in any ways because they don’t wear uniforms.”
From Axios:
President Trump said Tuesday ahead of a speech to the military’s top brass — convened at a highly unusual gathering in Virginia — that he would fire any generals he disliked “on the spot.”
… After taking the stage, Trump noted the lack of applause. “If you don’t like what I’m saying you can leave the room, because there goes your rank, there goes your future,” he said.
Note: “Don’t be fooled. God is not mocked,” is from Galatians 6:7. “A lie cannot live.” is a quote from Martin Luther King, Jr.
