At the Gospel Music Dove Awards in October, Lake, known for his songs “Gratitude” and “Graves Into Gardens” commented on the music festival, saying he “can’t wait” for the event. He also explained the difference in writing and recording songs in a studio to performing them in front of thousands on tour or at a music event such as Rock the Universe.

“Have you ever worked out by yourself?” he said. “It’s like, easy to give up. You’re like, ‘Alright, I’m going to do three sets of 12, bench pressing. When nobody’s watching, it’s kind of easy to give up. When you have people in the room, you push each other further.  So that’s kind of how I feel like when you step in a room with thousands of people. It’s like, ‘No, I’m not going to settle. Let’s go after more.’ And there is more in the presence of God, especially when you’re doing it night after night. We’re doing the same songs, but when you get new people in the room who are going through other situations, there’s new faith and there’s and there’s always the person who’s never heard Jesus. So it’s electric and there’s nothing like it.”

Lake will take the stage on Saturday night along with Casting Crowns, Phil Wickham, CAIN, Andrew Ripp and Hulvey. Friday will feature We the Kingdom, LeCrae, Blessing Offor, Cody Carnes, ELEVATION RHYTHM, and Riley Clemmons.

Fans can keep the music flowing in a dedicated fan zone, featuring live performances from up-and-coming acts, and autograph sessions with participating bands and artists. Beyond the performances, Rock the Universe attendees can immerse themselves in a weekend full of inspiring experiences – including a powerful Sunday Morning Worship Service to wrap up the faith-filled weekend.

Fans still have time to purchase tickets and can take advantage of admission to all three Universal Orlando theme parks with a 3-Park Rock Your Weekend Ticket, starting at $150.99, plus tax. Guests attending Rock the Universe can download the Universal Orlando Resort app to access event information like set times, autograph sessions, activities and more.
