Big Daddy Weave Returns With ‘Let It Begin’

Curb Records group Big Daddy Weave returns with Let It Begin, their first studio album in six years — available everywhere now.

Marking a powerful new chapter in the band’s journey, “Let It Begin” reflects a season of healing, hope, and heartfelt remembrance. As the follow-up to 2019’s “When The Light Comes,” the new project features deeply personal songs that testify to a faithful God who meets us in our darkest moments.

Anchored in truth and overflowing with hope, “Let It Begin” includes the chart-topping singles “Heaven Changes Everything” and “God Is In This Story” (feat. Katy Nichole). The album also features standout moments like the emotional tribute “Jaybird”, written in honor of founding member and Mike Weaver’s brother, Jay Weaver, as well as the rousing title track, “Let It Begin.”

Produced by band member Jeremy Redmon, with additional production from Matt Maher and Jeff Pardo, the album highlights the band’s signature mix of vulnerable storytelling and uplifting worship.

To give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the heart behind the music, the band is releasing new episodes of their video series, Cabin Conversations, where lead singer Mike Weaver sits down with co-writers and friends to explore each song. More episodes and content are set to roll out in the weeks ahead.

In the lead-up to the album release, Mike Weaver joined a special Mother’s Day broadcast on K-LOVE Radio to honor his late mother and recently appeared on the debut episode of Hannah Kerr’s “In the Middle of It” podcast, reflecting on how the band continues to find light through loss.

Following a successful spring tour, Big Daddy Weave is set to hit the road again this summer for the next leg of their “Let It Begin Tour,” kicking off June 10. The tour features support from Ben Fuller and rising artist Megan Woods.
