Let The Air Fill Your Cheeks Today

This is what pure, unadulterated joy looks like.

This dog doesn’t have a care in the world, he’s simply enjoying the moment and letting the air fill his flappy jowls. He’s not thinking about his next trip to the vet, or the next time his owner is going to clip his toenails. No, he’s enjoying the moment without any other care in the world.

 In a way, I envy this dog. So many times I let the distractions of life and the uncertainty of the future blind me from the joy that is in the present.

James 4:14 says, “whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.” In other words, don’t worry about tomorrow, instead, enjoy the blessings God has given you today and let the air fill your cheeks.
