Who is Really the Rich, Out of-Touch Leader?

When I tweeted out my support for Mitt Romney, the Internet exploded.  I was asked so many outrageous questions. How could I support someone who is so unconcerned for the poor?  Someone so out of touch?  Someone so rich?

Well…

What about the most recent report from the Daily Mail?:

Inside the Obama’s $12m summer vacation spot: Seven bedrooms, a tennis court, an infinity pool and a manicurist on call

• The president and his family have spent almost every single summer on the Massachusetts island since he was elected into the White House in 2008 
• The Boston Herald reports that Mr Obama will be spending August 8-23 at the same $12 million Chilmark cottage where his family stayed last year 
• A manicurist has been booked for three days a week for their stay, according to the newspaper 

So let me get this straight. If it’s a wealthy white man, it’s okay to disregard facts and automatically cast him as a greedy, out-of-touch, rich scrooge. But if it’s America’s first black President, suddenly having wealth and living extravagantly is celebrated and portrayed as in vogue?!?

I don’t get it. You can’t have it both ways. But I shouldn’t be shocked. The progressive left isn’t exactly known for being fair or logical.
