Pick up the bells and ring them. Enjoy their bright sound and feel the air lighten with their twinkles. Just as sage neutralizes negative energy, bells and chimes bring cheer and bright emotions into your home.
Hang these bells on the door you use the most. Every time you hear them jingle, think about love, new possibilities, your soaring spirit, and your intentions.

Give thanks to your higher powers, guides, and deities in whatever way you deem appropriate. You could bow your head in reverence with some deep breaths. You could also imagine giving them a hug. Say or think, “Thank you, spirit guides, angels, ancestors, and deities for your assistance on this Yule. I release you from this ritual. Blessed be.”
Open the Circle
To open the circle, stand facing the north first. Say or think, “I release the spirits of earth. Thank you for your assistance.”
Face the west. Say or think, “I release the spirits of water. Thank you for your assistance.”
Face the south. Say or think, “I release the spirits of fire. Thank you for your assistance.”
Face the east. Say or think, “I release the spirits of air. Thank you for your assistance.”
The circle is now open.

Post-Ritual Care
Eat some yummy food to replenish yourself, and drink a big glass of water. Wear your oil and light the candle to empower you.
If you can, take a walk to celebrate Yule. Pick up anything beautiful and bring it back home with you. Any pine cones, acorns, feathers, and other natural objects found on this day will make wonderful decorations on your Yule altar.
Soon enough, springtime will come again, with its colorful flowers and intoxicating rays of sunshine. In the meantime, we’re going to ride through this season and have one heck of a good rebirth.
Happy Yule.
