5 Ways to Move Your Body & Mind with Magic

5 Ways to Move Your Body & Mind with Magic November 11, 2020

In August I started up the Witchual Workout – a daily program designed to get both you and me up and moving regularly – with a dash of magical inspiration.  It started out being every single day, but around 40 episodes in, I realized I needed to be able to take a break.  So I switched to 5 days a week, and we’re now at 80 episodes!

One thing I noticed regardless – was that each week tended to have a feel and theme connecting them and shifting from week to week.  Totally on its own, as the oracle and Tarot pulls are completely random/by chance, and I rarely have a deity or spirit planned ahead.  Most “planning” for each episodes happens that very morning or afternoon. This is what happens when you engage in your practice on a regular basis: you start to see the pattern more effectively.

So starting with this past week, I’m going to share with you here the previous week’s episode so you can check it out.

Monday November 2nd
Witchual Workout 73: The Winds of Change
In this episode we tap into the energy of the Waning Moon and make use of the strong winds to clear away debris.

Tuesday November 3rd
Witchual Workout 74: Tarot – The Moon
Consulting the Tarot, we pulled The Moon.  The Moon reminds us that while our past makes a mark on us, we can’t let our fears from the past decide our future.

Wednesday, November 4th
Witchual Workout 75: Athena
Every Wednesday we look to the divine for inspiration.  In this episode Athena, the Greek Goddess of Wisdom & Strategy, influences our movements.

Thursday, November 5th
Witchual Workout 76: Oracle – the Ocean
Consulting the Liminal Spirits Oracle, we received Ocean – a spirit of place.  Its blue waves remind us of patience and persistance – and that below the surface, things are always rolling.

Friday, November 6th
Witchual Workout 77: Cleanse & Release
Fridays are “free” days, so for this episode we’re focusing on movements that tap into spellcraft for cleansing away stress and anxiety – releasing them to make room for joy.

I’ve made a handy playlist of all of the Witchual Workout episodes – you can access it here. You can absolutely jump around to different episodes or themes, or levels of difficulty.  Some episodes are designed just for sitting or focus on a single part of the body, so you can do what you are able or feeling engaged to do.
