There’s been some harsh words – not all unearned, I guess – directed toward Pajamas Media and its rather shaky start-up, but a brand-new endeavor or a wholly new idea does take some time to find its footing. I like this Mondo Alito Blog they’ve set up, gathering some really excellent pieces from all over the blogosphere on the confirmation hearing of Samual Alito.
I haven’t written on it, myself. I find myself utterly unable to watch more than 5 or 6 minutes of the Biden’s unending bloviation, Kennedy’s bizarre and rude blatherings and the general sense, across the board, that not a man or woman sitting in judgement of Alito could take the chair and submit to such an examination, themselves, without dissembling and – in some cases – finally curling into a fetal position begging for mommy.
But the Alito blog is a good one – check it out. Some really thoughtful and serious analysis and lots of fun stuff, too. I have especially liked the musings at Horsefeathers – he gets deeply into the idea of these liberals as perpetual adolescents. Also enjoyed Brutally Honest.
Ankle-biting Pundits, has the actual word count of senators vs. Sam. CaptainsQuarters is a must read and (natch) Michelle’s Clash of the Windbags. Bernard Higgins is losing patience with the pontificating.
I, of course, am missing out on an opportunity to be mondo-linked because (typically) while the rest of the world is looking at one thing, I’m looking at something else. My sister always did say I was contrary! :-)
