College Student seeks Corp. Sponsor

My Elder Son emailed this to me. He’s the creative sort who is always interested in seeing what other people come up with to help themselves along. Sometimes I think he is just fascinated with chutzpah, too.

This College Student is seeking corporate sponsorship of his college education.

I started thinking; if a grilled-cheese sandwich on eBay can generate boatloads of water cooler conversation – heck it was mentioned on last week’s episode of CSI – imagine the buzz surrounding a college student signing an exclusive endorsement deal.

It is implied I’m a little crazy for attempting this, however there is a fine line between genius and crazy.

Oprah has probably made more money since you started reading this than you or I will make in the next year, that’s crazy. A college student signing an endorsement deal, that’s genius.

This is where I turn to the Internet, the corporate world, and people just like you.

So far Dominos Pizza has said they’d forward the letter, and he seems to have amassed some $71.72.

I think it’s a cute idea, but the fellow should be scanning his transcript and bank statements to make his point and lend an air of legitimacy to this, though.

Ah….transcript here. Not bad. Need to work on that English for Journalism, though! :-)
