Bible signed by Trump goes on sale for $37,500

A RARE documents dealer who is no great admirer of the Orange Clown put a Trump-signed Bible on sale this week.

Gary Zimet told Business Insider that his only interest in Trump is to make money out of him, and decided to offer the book for sale after the President’s “revolting” behaviour in front of St John’s Church in Washington in June. Protesters were cleared from an area outside the church with tear gas and rubber bullets  so that Trump could hold up a Bible.

The signed Bible is not the same one from Trump’s St John’s stunt, but nonetheless, it’s a controversial item as it was signed just days after the uproar, said Zimet. He added:

Someone like him, having the gall to sign a Bible, after what he did in the photo op is revolting.

Business Insider reveals that there’s a big demand for Trump memorabilia. Items such a signed impeachment papers have fetched prices in the tens of thousands, and the POTUS himself has even commented on the hot market for his signature.

I sign things, and the next night, I see them on eBay. They’re sold. They’re sold for a lot of money.

Zimet, 67, said he usually sources Trump-signed memorabilia from the meet-and-greets Trump holds before rallies. But this Bible, Zimet says, was brought into the White House by a contact of the dealer to be signed by Trump

The only thing I’m interested in, vis-à-vis Trump, is making a profit off of him.

Zimet, who sell stuff through his Moments in Time website, says he has a baseball signed by both Trump and Putin that’s up for grabs for $25,000.

He also guarantees the veracity of signature. He has dealt in letters and manuscripts for 42 years, and says:

I know Trump’s signature backwards and forwards.

The White House declined to comment on the authenticity of the Bible.
