CBMW Is Going Places: All Over America in 2013-14

Here’s some news–very good news!–from the Council on Biblical Manhood & Womanhood (CBMW). In 2013-2014, we are traveling all over the map to strengthen and partner with churches of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Please join us at any and all of the events listed below (we’ve included a few beyond the fall). This is a busy schedule, but we’re thrilled to have so many rich opportunities to serve the churches of the Lord Jesus Christ. CBMW is in the air and on the road in order to strengthen and link arms with many faithful brothers and sisters.

*Event at Valleydale Baptist Church featuring a Q&A on gender roles and a talk entitled, “What Does it Mean to Be Human?” by Dr. Owen Strachan, CBMW Executive Director.

Wednesday, September 11^th, 2013: Springfield, Illinois

*Dr. Strachan will be giving a presentation at Hope Church regarding women and eldership, presenting biblical complementarianism.

Monday, September 23^rd, 2013: Providence, Rhode Island

Saturday, September 27^th through Sunday, September 29^th: Minneapolis, Minnesota

*CBMW will be at the 2013 Desiring God National Conference at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Stop by to say hi at booth number 34 and pick up a copy of “50 Crucial Questions”.

Tuesday, October 8th through Wednesday, October 9th, 2013: Montgomery, Alabama

*Dr. Strachan will be a plenary speaker at the national NANC Conference and do a breakout session on cultural challenges to biblical gender and sexuality.

Saturday, October 12th, 2013: Molin, Illinois

Karis lead editor Trillia Newbell will be leading a seminar titled, “I Am Woman: God’s Design for Women in Creation, the Church, and All of Life” for Focal Points Ministries’ Iron Sharpens Iron Women’s Conference.

Monday, October 14^th through Tuesday, October 15^th, 2013: Boston, Massachusetts

*CBMW will be at Plant New England. Dr. Owen Strachan will be on a panel and speaking at a breakout session. Stop by our booth to say hi!

Tuesday, November 19^th through Friday, November 22nd, 2013: Baltimore, Maryland

*CBMW will be at the Evangelical Theological Society’s 65^th annual meeting in Baltimore. Stop by our booth to say hi!

Friday, December 27^th through Monday, December 30^th, 2013: Louisville, Kentucky

*CBMW will be at the CROSS Conference, a four-day gathering in Louisville, KY, calling college students to consider cross cultural missions. Stop by to see us at our booth!
