Autistic Memory and Prayer

Autistic Memory and Prayer September 4, 2019

We autistics tend to have a really amazing memory. I have said before that friends would joke that Wikipedia would check with me first. Obviously, that’s not true. However, it does point to the autistic tendency to a very exhaustive, almost photographic memory. I asked myself how this relates to prayer. I decided to record a short video with my ideas. Here is my take on autistic memory and prayer.

I think we autistics can pray just like anyone else. However, our prayer will likely have some different characteristics. When we read a Bible passage, it will often bring other passages to mind which can help us pray.

I really hope this video helps you pray more. Autistic memory should be a help to prayer, not an obstacle. Enjoy the video for the details of how I connect these things.
