I’m Speaking in Maryland (and possibly Austin, Memphis, and New Orleans) September 27, 2014

On October 15th, I’ll be heading out to Maryland to speak at a Theology on Tap in St. Mary’s County.  Pax Catholic has been running a series of talks on conversion, and I’ll be chiming in with a talk titled: “Backed into Belief: A Journey from Atheism to Catholicism.”

The full logistical details are available at the facebook event page at the link.  If you’re in the area, I’d love to see you there!

It also so happens that, as part of my current job, I’ll be travelling a couple times this year.  I have Thursday-Friday commitments in three cities around the United States, and, if you live near one of these cities, I’d be glad to do an talk, Q&A, debate, math lecture, etc on the Wednesday night or Saturday surrounding my visit.  Please get in touch with me if you’d like to arrange an event in:

  • Memphis, TN (Nov 19/22)
  • New Orleans, LA (Jan 25/28)
  • Austin, TX (May 13/16)

It’s my first time visiting any of these cities, and I’m looking forward to seeing them (and hopefully some of you).  I’m glad to talk about my conversion, strategies for having better fights, or geeky approaches to Catholic prayer.

Today is the fifth day of a novena to St. Therese of Lisieux, timed to end on her feast day (Oct 1), which is also the One Rose Invitation Day, sponsored by Imagine Sisters
