Yes We are Open

I was walking down the street and saw the sign posted on a Mom and Pop window, “Yes We Are Open”.  And I pondered that, are we really open?  The heart is a powerful tool, when used correctly, helps in navigating the waves of life.  Like a GPS system it moves through the waves of life in constant aliveness, openness to what is.

The heart looks out across the horizon and sees the sun setting and rising, and also looks close and sees the tide.

Ask yourself, Am I really open to life? What moves me? Where does my attention go when turmoil hits? It is easy to be open when things are moving in a good way, but difficult to stay open when things seem to be up and down.
