Self-reflective question o’ the day: How much music have I never heard?

Answer: A number that is very large, and pretty close to being represented by this symbol:  ∞.

So I’m probably in the same boat as you are, right? So I did a little exploring, looking for songs that I haven’t heard but that I just might like. That is a number considerably smaller than infinity.

I’m not really sure why, but this little tune is stuck in my head. So, being neighborly,  I thought I’d share it with you too. It’s all about rendering unto Caesar. (more…)

Ah, words. Can’t live with ’em; can’t live without ’em. Right now, I can’t live with ’em.

It’s Monday and I realize that I haven’t done a music post in a while. I was all caught up in the Christmas Season, see, and many of those posts included music.

But now it’s Ordinary Time, and I’m putting my VJ hat back on. Pretend that I’m driving this van around today, playing the following songs on a non-stop loop, with no particular place to go. (more…)

Being the giant of music knowledge that I am, I found all this out today via a Google search (about 5 minutes ago) because I love books, coffee, and music. (more…)
