Lena Dunham doesn’t know it yet, but she just became the unofficial spokesperson for the “get out the vote” campaign for Donald Trump by promising to move to Canada if he wins the election.

Dunham made this declaration at an awards event this week in New York City and unlike others who have made similar promises, she said she was super serious:

“I know a lot of people have been threatening to do this, but I really will. I know a lovely place in Vancouver and I can get my work done from there.”

And what work is that? Well, according to Dunham, “doing the work of being female right now.” Which is feminist gobbledygook for having lots of sex and abortions. Oh, and to bag on men. Dunham was asked at the awards show what she would do if she woke up as a man one day. “Kill myself!” she replied. What a sweetheart!

But then again, this is a woman who thinks her “work” is redefining the role of women, when in reality, it’s nothing more than glorifying sexual perversion. Take for instance the show she created for HBO, Girls, in which she often appears naked and celebrates sexual “freedom” (read: promiscuity). Peak “feminism” was reached last season on the show in a scene that featured cast member Allison Williams — that’s NBC anchor Brian Williams’s daughter, by the way — becoming the first actress in HBO history to be involved in what she gleefully dubbed an “ass motorboating scene.” (The show somehow made the practice look more boring and annoying than pleasurable.)

Does this offend other Hollywood feminists? Of course not! This is “brave” stuff! Girls has been celebrated by Hollywood with Emmy and Golden Globes nominations. These are the same Hollywood liberals that moan every time a woman is over-sexualized in a film or television show made by a man. But Dunham does it under the guise of “feminism” so it’s okay.

Then there was her book of personal essays (Not That Kind of Girl) where Dunham describes sexually experimenting on her little sister and grooming her with — and I quote — “anything a sexual predator might do to woo a small suburban girl.” Her words, not mine.

That alone proves Canada deserves Dunham more than we do. I mean, is she trying to make us like Trump? Because it would seem that if there was anybody on the fence about The Donald, a promise like she made could push them straight over the edge. Dunham hinting a move to Canada could make the most hard-lined supporter of the GOP establishment wear a “Make America Great Again” hat faster than she can remove her own clothes.

What if this whole time, Lena Dunham’s American exodus was exactly how you make the country great again?
