What Keeps Me Going This Week: Proverbs 18:10

When life is tough — or even when it’s not — I’ve found comfort in the Bible. My favorite parts change from month to month, week to week, or even day to day.  Honestly, I should read it more than I do, because I’ve also found that life is better when I hang on to its promises and truth.

Here’s the verse that’s speaking to me right now, Proverbs 18:10.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.

Lord, let me never run anywhere else!  Help me to remember where all truth is found and run there for safety.

This week, what verses give you confidence?

Bristol, you are truly an inspiration to all that follow your posts and, of course, through your mom. I have followed your mom from the day she was a nominee for VP. I have family that live in Anchorage and Bethel, so that does give me a one-up in knowing a little history of Alaska and too, your mom as governor.

I love Alaska and wish I could live there, but TO COLD FOR ME…and I love the sunshine ALL or MOST OF the time. I live in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina (Raleigh/Durham)

Continue your good works and I can say a role model for our young people. I know my grand-girls love you and are faithful followers. Your performances on DWTS were amazing and the grand-girls and I voted for you ALL the time. You were voted off way to early, but you did accept it with grace and dignity. That spoke volumes to my grand-girls and they voiced their opinions.

We wish you continued success in your present and future life and continue just being Bristol. We love you !

    Great Post, Bristol

It was just what I needed I have been such despair and anguish since the election results came.

the link to the website is great because you can get the full proverb and it was in audio of it as well.

I am impressed with your posts and commentary. I find that most the other comments are great as well.

This a great comfort to know that I am among those who are simular to myself.
