Visitors hoping to educate themselves about American history might take a piece of the Smithsonian with them after a visit to the gift shop, but you probably wouldn’t expect an item that disrespected a U.S. president. Would you?

But there it is for $12: a paper doll set of Donald Trump that isn’t as kind to him as it is for the ones available for Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders fans. They get quite the treatment, in fact. You can dress Clinton in scrubs because she is committed to national health care, as the caption for the outfit states. Or she can be dressed in one of her famous pantsuits to celebrate her achievement for becoming the first female senator from New York.

But what about Trump’s doll? Well, he can wear a graduation cap-and-gown from his failed university, or carry around piles of money, and you can even accessorize him with a Statue of Liberty that has “Go Home” written on it. He’s our sitting president, and this is okay? If there was one for Obama, do you think it would have him ripping up the Constitution or delivering uranium to Iran?? As bad as it gets for Bernie Sanders is dressing him up in a chef’s apron that says, “Feel the Bern” with his name on fire. (He’s grilling. Get it?)

As the National Review notes, the national museum boasts about being ethical by staying away from “conduct that would compromise the integrity of or public confidence in the Smithsonian.” But it doesn’t sound like selling these dolls meets their requirement of staying “apolitical.”

One of the managers at the Smithsonian said there is “plenty” of other Trump memorabilia and swears they try to be “equal opportunity.” She pointed out that there is a two-sided book that on one side reads “Stupidest things Republicans ever said,” and when you flip to the other side it’s the “Stupidest things Democrats ever said.”

Great, but even one item that disrespects our president disqualifies the museum from achieving its stated goals. Here’s what the creator of the paper dolls books, Tim Foley, had to say:

As I start the new year, it is with more trepidation, uncertainty, and fear than I’ve ever felt after any election year in my entire life. I’ve survived Republican presidents in the past (5 of them in fact), but never before have I had this feeling of riding on an out of control train barreling towards a cliff with a raving madman at the controls. Hopefully I am over-reacting.

If the Smithsonian is as equal opportunity as they say, either get rid of these books or let’s have one we can dress Clinton up in an orange prison jumpsuit.
