Rich Celeb Lena Dunham Tattletales on Hard Working Airline Workers for Being ‘Transphobic’ August 7, 2017

Lena Dunham, whom I’ve written about many times before, is at it again.  The creator of HBO’s Girls, the ultra-lefty celeb who likes to be naked, the one who encouraged everyone to vote for Barack Obama and then Hillary Clinton, the one who wrote horrible things about her sister, is now complaining to American Airlines over supposedly transphobic jokes she heard while flying.

Yes, really.  According to ABC News:

Her flight on another airline was delayed for hours Wednesday at New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Dunham, 31, wrote that the “worst part of this night” waiting at the airport came when she overheard two American Airlines’ “attendants having a transphobic talk.”

Literally, there’s no telling what rules of political correctness these employees broke, not realizing they were walking by a tattle tale celebrity who’s out to shame them and possibly make them lose their jobs.

This is what she tweeted: “At this moment in history we should be teaching our employees about love and inclusivity @AmericanAir. That was worst part of this night.”

Here it is:

Then, she apparently messaged with the airline the following:

The message says:

Hi. I heard 2 female attendants walking talking about how trans kids are a trend they’d never accept a transchild and transness is gross. I think it reflects badly on uniformed employees of your company to have that kind of dialogue going on. What if a trans teen was walking behind them? Awareness starts at home, but jobs can set standards of practice. Thanks for your consideration!

Wow.

ABC News reports than an investigation is now open on the incident:

“We are looking into these allegations,” the statement began. “From the team members we hire to the customers we serve, inclusion and diversity is a way of life at American Airlines. Every day, our team members work to make American a place where people of all generations, races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, religious affiliations and backgrounds feel welcome and valued.”

ABC News has not confirmed if the people Dunham tweeted about were airline or airport employees, or what company they worked for. Dunham’s Instagram Story appears to have shown the actress later on a Delta Air Lines flight, which operates out of a different terminal than American Airlines.

Good grief!  What about respecting the people who are working hard to put food on their tables, not realizing a wealthy Hollywood liberal was eavesdropping on their conversation and subsequently telling their boss about it?

I liked this tweet by Matt Walsh about the whole thing:
