Please join me in praying for the happy repose of the soul of one of our priests, Father Jerome Niedermier, who you may recall I had the joy of meeting on the day of the announcement of my appointment as Bishop of Toledo. On Saturday, had the great grace of praying the prayers for the dying as he was on hospice (pictured) and he greeted me with wide eyes and a broad smile! Father died Jan 6 and his funeral Mass is Friday. May his priestly soul rest in eternal light and peace.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him…
